Council bill to remove paper bag fee up for discussion tonight
Bill 92-24, introduced by Council Member Shannon Leadbetter and co-sponsored by Council Member Amanda Fiedler, would remove the 10-cent fee on paper bags and the penalties for retailers who do not collect the payment on the bags.
Interested residents can also sign up to speak about the bill at the meeting by 3 p.m. Monday.
