The City of Annapolis is asking the court to dismiss the lawsuit challenging the City Dock project, as it would make it difficult for them to defend the suit.

However, John Doe’s counsel has promised to respond to the city’s filings within the deadline.

🚒Fire Chief Joins National FirstNet Authority


US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo has appointed County Fire Chief Wolford as one of the eleven leaders to join the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) board. With 12 non-permanent members, the board oversees activities to ensure FirstNet Authority and AT&T (commercial partner) develop, build, and operate a countrywide public safety broadband network to equip first responders to save and protect communities.

🏅Jenny Parsons Inducted Into Anne Arundel County Sports Hall of Fame
Jenny Parson was inducted into the Anne Arundel County Sports Hall of Fame, becoming one of the greatest athletes in our County’s history.

Currently, in her fourth year as the softball coach with Central Arkansas, she has coached and thrived in college softball for 31 years, leading to Nicholls State for eight seasons.

🏐Broadneck Volleyball team makes it to the state final.

The Broadneck High School volleyball team in Annapolis advanced to the state final after a strong performance against Perry Hall. They will now face Richard Montgomery, the defending champion, this coming Saturday at Hartford Community College’s APGFCU Arena.
